“Snake Bird”

My husband took a photo of an Anhinga (meaning “Snake Bird”. It's name comes from his elongated neck which moves like a snake in water or on the bank during a feeding. It has a somewhat unnatural curvature when it needs it to be. Maybe It's a native waterfowl in Southern Louisiana. I'll include the photo as well. My first oil painting! And it did sell!
