Hello, I'm Daphne, the artist behind La Tour Collections. Originally from Haiti and now based in South Carolina, I create art inspired by memory, home, resilience, and the beauty found in everyday objects. My work often incorporates repurposed materials, texture, watercolor, acrylics, resin, and mixed media techniques to transform simple surfaces into meaningful pieces. With a background in Interior Design, I am drawn to color, composition, and the stories spaces can tell. Lately, much of my work explores whimsical houses, abstract landscapes, and symbolic imagery that celebrate connection, community, and the feeling of belonging. I believe art does not have to be perfect to be meaningful. Through each piece, I hope to create a sense of warmth, curiosity, and joy while encouraging others to see beauty in unexpected places. :::
