The Bird Man was a Newport Beach fixture circa 1990, taking his beloved birds cruising the boardwalk on his souped up beach cruiser. The bike was outfitted with perches, and even a long perch connected to a trailer that he towed behind him. He would let people hold them for a photo for a small amount of money. He was quite the spectacle.
