Tetons With a Twist

This 18 X 24 inch oil painting on canvas depicts a serene mountain landscape featuring wildlife, horses hidden in the snow covered mountains specifically inspired by the Grand Tetons. Two prominent bull elk are featured in and near a body of water. One elk is partially submered in the water on the right, while another is viewed from the side in the lower left. I was inspired by the scenery of a wilderness retreat in the Grand Tetons National Park, adding personal creative touches to the rendition.
