Nature's Design

This 18 X 24 inch oil painting is an intricate piece that uses a variety of autumn and botanical leaves to form a hidden image. The leaves are from my yard. The painting features a horse head cleverly integrated into the arrangement of leaves. The Eye: A dark red, five-petaled flower with a white center (located near the top middle) serves as the horse's eye. It is a representational work with a surrealist touch, blending botanical study with animal portraiture.
